Account & Data Deletion
You have the right to delete your BD Pigeon Hub account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains exactly what happens when you request deletion and how to do it.
How to Delete Your Account
There are two ways to request account deletion:
Option 1 — From the App (Recommended)
Open the app and go to your Dashboard
Tap the Me tab in the bottom navigation bar, then tap Profile Settings.
Tap "Delete Account"
Scroll to the bottom of the Profile Settings screen. Tap Delete Account (shown in red).
Confirm your password and confirm deletion
Enter your password to verify your identity, then tap Permanently Delete. This action cannot be undone.
Done — you will be signed out immediately
Your account is queued for deletion. All personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
Option 2 — By Email Request
If you cannot access the app, send an email from the email address registered with your account:
Subject:
Account Deletion Request — [your username]Include in the body:
- Your registered username
- Your registered email address
- Confirmation that you want your account and all data permanently deleted
We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.
What Gets Deleted
The following table shows exactly what data is deleted and what (if anything) is retained:

Timeline
- Immediately: Your account is deactivated. You are signed out on all devices. Your public profile and listings are no longer visible.
- Within 30 days: All personal data listed as "Deleted" in the table above is permanently removed from our databases and servers.
- Confirmation: You will receive an email confirming completion of deletion.
Before You Delete
Consider the following before deleting your account:
- Active listings: Any active pigeon listings will be removed. Interested buyers will no longer be able to contact you through the platform.
- Active auctions: If you have an ongoing live auction, deletion will cancel it. Bidders will be notified.
- Won auctions: If you have won an auction and not yet completed the transaction, resolve this before deleting your account.
- Accepted offers: Complete any accepted offers and payment confirmations before requesting deletion.
- No recovery: Deleted accounts cannot be recovered. Your username will be permanently released.
